épatage was founded in 2017 by a third-generation builder, Cherokee, and US Air Force Veteran, who, as an Outsider, committed himself to fostering a voice for the Outsiders of the trades through an unlikely brand. épatage represents a construction lifestyle movement, born of blue-collar builders embroiled in urban life.

These facets of urban life have created two classes of society: insiders and outsiders. Those who don’t fit the inside the cookie cutter white-collar society become outsiders, and those who choose to identify themselves by that title become Outsiders.

épatage is dedicated to the Outsiders who are building the literal foundation of the society that may have pushed them to the sidelines.
